Development of Automatic Extinguisher using Ignition Sensing Tube for Smart Fire Protection System

The automatic fire extinguishing system, which uses an ignition sensing tube, will extinguishing fires through a tube by dissolving and emitting gases at a constant temperature This system can operate without a power supply and is capable of detecting fires and extinguishing them. In this paper, the composition of existing fire extinguishing tube ignition sensing tubes (conventional tubes), which react and detect fires when the temperature is between 100℃ and 110℃, was analyzed and gas emissions were developed using high-tech polymer materials. A modified fire extinguisher which uses ignition sensing tubes and is suitable for the clean agent HFC-227ea was developed. Existing fire extinguishers were redesigned by installing ignition sensing tubes to extinguish power reception and distribution panel fires. In addition, a smart fire protection system is proposed in which the monitoring and alarm systems of existing individual fire extinguishing systems, specifically for power reception and distribution panels were improved.
