摘要

This paper presents a performance evaluation model for the order picking warehouse in Supply Center (SC) by reducing the travel distance of transporters. Our study captures important detail aspects of SC design and operational parameters such as SC size, rack size, number of transporters, and the system performance. A mathematical and empirical model has been developed along with a simulation model using AutoMod. In this study, a number of applications are described to compute the performance both by mathematical model under the probabilistic demand and by picking frequency. The sample results are compared and validated via simulation method using AutoMod simulator. Finally, a systematic and practical program has been developed and it is known that the proposed method is potentially efficient and useful in performance analysis through order picking warehouse sample problems.
