Lessons from the Olympics

Like so many people, I could not get tickets and so I was an armchair spectator, but again like so many people, the fact that the Games were held in London made me watch much more than I would usually do. Here lies the first lesson for me-get out of my armchair and be more active (but I suppose I did know that already so it probably doesn't count as part of my Olympic learning experience).As I watched the Games, I was so inspired by the athletes, their support teams and their families. I was also inspired by the crowds who were so fulsome in their support and by the volunteers who helped the whole event run so smoothly.
