摘要

64 ejaculates from 4 adult Sirohi goats were collected, and each ejaculate was analysed for physical and biochemical parameters. Average values were as follows: volume, 1.38+-0.05 ml; initial sperm motility, 72.66+-1.72%; sperm concentration, 2348.69+-47.10 X 106 per ml; pH, 6.47+-0.02; methylene blue reduction time (MBRT), 2.78+-0.12 min; percentage of live spermatozoa, 84.80+-1.05. Semen concentrations (mg%) of inorganic phosphorus averaged 11.48+-0.52, of initial fructose 718.05+-23.38, of total cholesterol 273.06+-12.59, and of ascorbic acid 14.88+-0.31. Semen quality traits (mass motility, sperm concentration and percentage of live spermatozoa) were negatively correlated with initial fructose concentration and MBRT and positively correlated with inorganic phosphorus and total cholesterol concentrations.
