Unloading of fly Ash from Barges: With a Skid Mounted Pneumatic Conveying System

摘要

This article gives some of the technical details of a barge unloader with a pneumatic suction and dense phase conveying system. The system, available for fly ash and cement, can not only be jetty mounted, mobile solutions are also possible. The skid mounted barge unloader described in this article is a jetty mounted stationary unit, suitable for fly ash unloading operations, which can be used at all import terminals. The unloader can convey the fly ash from the barges to intermediate storage and then to the inlet of the mill hoppers of a cement plant in the desired proportion.
