Currently there are problems associated with downhole drilling motors (DHM) instability operation, its shutoffs, low operation life of working elements (WE), and also breakdown (break out, failure of DHM elements) of drill string assembly (DS) in existing drilling technology. In particular, motor operation life can last from 90 to 235 hours depending on size and operating conditions but DHM failure (according to drilling companies "Gazprom burenie" LLC and "KCA Deutag") - can happen from 5 to 12 times per year that leads to long-term recovery works in the hole or well abandonment. Pointed issues caused by the following problems: lack of information about actual axial weight on bit that affects "DS-DHM-bit" system operation; interchange of drilled formations characterized by different mechanical-and-physical properties; application of high torque-intensive bits; low quality of working elements manufacturing and design features of motor power section, and also a number of others unimportant factors.
