摘要

This paper deals with finite element based modeling and simulation of load deflection characteristics of wave washer spring. The wave springs have linear load deflection characteristics. The modeling problem of contact between lower and upper supports and spring can be obtained by using dynamic/explicit scheme of finite element analysis. Different parameters like coefficient of friction, inner diameter & mesh size are changed and effect of changing them is obtained and studied for four different thicknesses. After simulation the results of wave washer spring can be compared or checked by experimental results. Load deflection characteristics of different type of wave spring can be analyzed.
