Apollo Tyres sees Q2 profit double to ￡152 crores ($28 million)

During the second quarter of the current fiscal year, the Indian tire giant, Apollo Tyres, has seen a net profit of ￡ 152 crore-almost double the ￡78 crore profit earned in the same period of the previous fiscal year. Net sales rose by 18% to ￡3,375 crore during the July to September 2012 period, compared to ￡2,871 crore during the same period of 2011.
