Mastitis is one of the economically most important diseases of dairy animals world-wide. Prevalent antibiotic treatments are becoming unsatisfactory because of diminishing efficacy due to resistance, cost considerations and undesirable residues. The present investigation records the clinical efficacy of a non-antibiotic herbal topical get AV/AMP/14 for acute mastitis in dairy cows.
