What's new at this year's birdfair

The Birdfair offers an unbelievably wide range of items on offer from expensive original paintings to more affordable prints - maybe it's time to say hang the cost, and hang a picture! Ernest Leahy (AM/31) has new watercolours of birds from the UK aswell as Lesvos, including a delightful study of Waxwings. New watercolours and acrylics of British and European birds from Jackie Garner (AM/50,51) are on show, including illustrations for the forthcoming Grouse of the World book by Richard Sale. Birds Birds Birds (AM/3,4) will have new original work paintings from Alan Hunt, an artist renowned internationally for his African wildlife. Paintings are on show from many other top artists, including Mark Andrews, StephenCale, John Gale, Richard Lewington, Stephen Message, Chris Rose, Michael Warren, Darren Woodhead.
