Likely linkage: Inv with Jk

摘要

In a data base consisting of 1665 pairs of loci linkage between Inv and Jk is significant$$(hat z = 3.38 {text{at}} hat theta = 0.23)$$. Recombination is nearly the same in the two sexes$$(hat theta _{text{m}} = 0.21,hat theta _{text{f}} = 0.25)$$. The reason why this linkage was not noticed earlier is discussed.
