At a customer day in March the companyGeorg presented its new roll grindingmachine type ultragrind 700 R to an experiencedaudience. The new machine isdesigned for centre lengths of 5,000 mm,grinding diameters of up to 700 mm androll weights up to 10 tonnes. The machineworks fully automatically and impressesby its high grinding qualities in conventionaland CBN grinding. Due to manyspecial design solutions, its very solidstructure and innovative measuring technologiesthe machine achieves highestprecision and at the same time shortestsetting and machining cycles.
