摘要

While plastics packaging applications have been moving toward thinner walls since their inception,more engineering applications such as automotive instrument panels and mobile phone and laptop housings are now being designed this way.Using thin-wall technology not only saves material due to reduced wall thickness,but it also shortens cooling time that,in turn,helps optimize cycle time.Producing thin walls also results in material savings and miniaturization.One caveat:Wall thickness is always dependent on flow length.
