PolyMirae (Seoul, Korea; www.polymirae.com), a joint ven-ture of LyondellBasell and Daelim, has announced the development of a new transparent PP resin, Clyrell RC5056, offering the high heat resistance needed for disinfection. "Clyrell RC5056 exhibits high gloss, high transparency, and high heat resistance and offers appropriate flowability for injection molding. Moreover, the resin is recyclable and meets FDA food contact cooking condition requirements," says G. Y. Ha, innovation manager at PolyMirae.
