The competitiveness of WRC rally cars is constituted of performance and reliability of power system. The drive train, which is one of such system, is designed to be enough strong and reliable for large engine torque and big impacts from the ground. It is desirable to be compact and lightweight. Taking these into consideration, a drive train of our WRC rally car has been developed. This paper describes this drive train and some strategies for long life are also mentioned.
