EU Envisions Binding Framework On Financial Regulation Through TTIP

In pushing for financial services regulations to be part of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), EU economic officials are hoping to forge a binding agreement that would ensure that the United States and European Union coordinate closely on implementation of new regulations and that each side will be responsive to the other in the event of a conflict in this sector.
