We would like to commend Roy et al.1 for their excellent article, a follow-up study of the 2001 earthquake victims. We were interested, having been a part of teams which went to Gujarat in 2001 and recently to Kashmir. In both instances we reached the affected areas as the media was leaving.As we were dealing with complications of the aggressive use of implant surgery, we were almost overcome by what we found, in 2001.
