A new polymorphism in the gene for the dopamine D2 receptor

A new polymorphism has been identified in the gene for the dopamine D2receptor. The polymorphism was found by single stranded conformational polymorphism (SSCP) analysis. Sequencing revealed an insertion at aBsoF1 restriction site. This polymorphism in the 3′- untranslated region was found at a frequency of 0.07 in Centre d'Etude du Polymorphisme Humain (CEPH) parent
