Coal to gas coming soon?

A new way to affordably convert coal to gas and diesel and then sell it at prices competitive with fuels derived from crude oil may someday soon hit the street, researchers said. University of Kentucky professor Gerald Huffman said fuel from coal could be available in service stations in the U.S. within 15 years.
