Environmental management of industrial parks: case study of Pequiven's Jose complex

Pequiven, a subsidiary of Petr6leos de Venezuela, manufactures petrochemical products and sells them in domestic and international markets. It gives full support to enforcing worker safety and environmentally sound operating procedures that reduce risks to the environment and communities while complying with international and local legislation. This article presents the general programmes Pequiven has established for day-to-day safety and environmental management and recent experience with theenvironmental management of industrial parks.
