Polymorphism and reactivity of [Ni(pyridine)_4(NCS)_2]:Two new supramolecular isomers and one macro-ionic derivative [(N-Methylpyridinmm)_n]_2~(2+) centre dot [Ni(mu_(1,3)-SCN)_2(NCS)_2]_n~(2n-)

摘要

Solvothermal treatment of [Ni(pyridine)_4(NCS)_2] in the presence of 4,5-imidazoledicarboxylic acid allows the isolation of two new polymorphs depending on solvents (CH_3CN or CH_3CN/CH_3OH).Furthermore,one unusual conductive macro-ionic complex [(N-methylpyridinium)_n]_2~(2n+) centre dot [Ni(mu_(1,3)-SCN)_2(NCS)_2]_n~(2n-) is obtained when the reaction is carried out in CH_3OH,providing a new insight into polymorphism and reactivity of [Ni(pyridine)_4(NCS)_2].
