摘要

Phagocytosis is the essential defence against microbial pathogens. This function is performed by leukocytes, mainly neutrophils. As observed [1,2], the histamine Hrantagonist dithiaden inhibits production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by phagocytes. Our aim was to compare the inhibitory effects of dithiaden with those of four second-generation Hrantihistamines - loratadine, acrivastine, astemizole and ketotifen-fumarate.
