These days it is rare for an international manufacturing company to be moving production into the UK but that is exactly what is happening at the ASCO NUMATICS LTD plant in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. ASCO NUMATICS manufacture a range of fluid control and fluid power products at their Skelmersdale facility. The range includes coils, solenoid valves, pneumatic cylinders and manifolds. The company has seen production steadily increasing over the last few years. These increases are attributed to the employment of Lean manufacturing techniques, which have also had a direct impact on the service that the company is able to offer to its UK customer base.
