Sumykhimprom completes first TiO_2 upgrade

JSC Sumykhimprom,a leading producer of TiO_2 in the Ukraine,has completed the first stage of an upgrade at one of its facilities,costing UAH 18m.(us3.6m.). Obsolete and outdated equipment in the white filtration section of its second titanium dioxide pbnt,built in 1966,was replaced by modem press-filters supplied by German-based Andritz Separation GmbH.
