Anew system to beneficiate fine materials with an entirely dry technology has been developed, and promises to provide the mineral processing industry with an environmentally friendly, low-energy means to separate very fine materials. Separation Technologies, LLC (ST) has developed a system based on triboelectric charging and electrostatic separation. This environmentally friendly process eliminates the need for material drying and liquid waste handling and treatment from flotation processes.
