International Brucite formed to rejuvenate US source

One of the worlds few sources of the natural magnesium hydroxide mineral, brucite, is to be rejuvenated with the formation of International Brucite Corp. (IBC) to market products from Marble Canyon, Texas. This follows the bankruptcy of the former developer of the deposit, Applied Chemical Magnesias Corp. (ACM), in 2009. Based in Austin, Texas, and led by Matthew Bray as president, IBC is a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Texas Architectural Aggregate Inc. (TAA), of San Saba, Texas, supplier of architectural stone since 1960.
