Soda ash plants for sale

The speculation surrounding the sale of Poland's state owned soda ash business has come to an end - the Ministry of Privatisation announced that companies interested in investing in Janikosoda SA and Soda Matwy SA should submit applications outling their business activities by 7 September. Companies interested in acquiring in either of these operations were required to express their interest to the consultancy handling the sale, Poznan-based W. Frackowiak I Partnerzy, by the deadline date. Such companies must be able to prove that they exist, they have a strong enough financial position and that they are a chemical company. Certain pledges about maintaining staffing levels were also sought.
