Skardon kaolin approaches all systems go

Completion of plant renovations at the Skardon River kaolin project is within sight, according to Vic Alexander, chief executive of the project's owner Minerals Corp., after a number of delays.The operation has already produced ceramic grade hydrous product from the wet plant for customer 'main plant' samples. Hydrous runs in May will be for rubber, plastic and paint grade products.Start up of the kaolin project has repeatedly been delayed but it seems that all obstacles have now been overcome. Alexander confirms that the company has commissioned the wet plant for hydrous products, dry plant circuit, the sprayer drier and bagging lines.
