Export Peformance of Leather and Lether Products during April-October 2012 vis-a-vis April-October 2011

As per the official data from DGCI&S, the value of Leather and Leather Products during the period April-October 2012 touched US$2833.68 million as against the value of US$2900.04 million in the corresponding period of last year, recording a marginal decline of 2.29%. However in rupee terms, the export touched Rs.1,54,237.77 million as against Rs.1,32,869.68 million in the said period, showing a positive growth rate of 16.08%.
