Whether you see it on the evening news or through social media or even just driving around through the neighborhoods, solar panels and solar heating and/or photovoltaics are becoming main stream. The solar industry is experiencing rapid growth across the board. Costs are starting to come down, financing programs have become "homeowner-friendly" and "word of mouth" success stories are some of the main reasons for this growth. Probably the most common application for incorporating a solar energy collecting system is for domestic hot water. Relative to the installed costs including the necessary equipment and labor, providing/supplementing domestic hot water for a home or building offers the best return on investment.
