摘要

The plain roof tiles from different producers were tested using the ultrasonic method. The shaped tiles after drying and after burning were taken into account. The measurements aimed at the determination of material structure in different stages of production (after drying and after burning) and at the characterisation of ceramic body to point out the operation affecting mostly the structure and properties of final product. The non-homogeneities (wave velocity distribution) in the products ariginating form different sources were compared. It has been found that the moulding process highly affected the anisotropy an non-homogeneity of material while the drying and burning had little effect.
