IF IT'S ALL the same with you I'm going to ignore Mr Bond - despite the arrival of this newest Aston to coincide nicely with his latest caper - and instead stick to the facts. Which are: Aston is now offering its flagship DBS model with two pedals for a premium of ￡3000 over the manual. The automatic DBS is just that, a proper auto with a six-speed ZF unit (as fitted to the DB9), and not an automated manual, as used in the Vantage. Which is good news because, race tracks aside, the ZF 'box presents a better solution.
