I'VE BEEN SHOUTING at my Merc. Not in a manic, Basil Fawlty type of way, but I've just been trying to make myself understood. Merc has had a 'Linguatronic' option for years now and the C-class has the latest incarnation. The theory is pretty compelling. You can operate major controls, such as the ventilation and audio systems, just by saying various commands while keeping both hands on the steering wheel.
