Multi-conductor medium-voltage overhead power line as a communication medium for broadband transmission is discussed in this paper. In this communication, the proposed model for multiwire overground which is more suitable for application of broadband power line systems using multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) theory. Multi-conductor transmission line theory is utilized here for modeling the transfer function of power-line cables. This approach allows us to determine a circuit model that characterizes the underlying physics of signal propagation over power-line cables.]
