摘要

Efficacy of various Trichoderma viride isolates were tested for the management of dry root rot of blackgram caused by Macrophomina phaseolina. In greenhouse studies, seed treatment plus soil application of talc based formulation of T. viride isolates Tv1 and Tv4 along with FYM effectively reduced the disease incidence and increased the yield. Expression of various defense related enzymes was found involved in the induction of systemic resistance against pathogen infection. Blackgram seed treated with 4 g kg-1 plus soil application 4 g kg-1 of talc based formulation of T. viride (Tv1 and Tv4) compared with FYM with challenge inoculation of M. phaseolina enhanced the induction of defense enzymes such as peroxidase (PO), polyphenol oxidase (PPO) and phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL).
