OBSERVATIONS ON FERN GENUS OPHIOGLOSSUM L. FROM RAJASTHAN, INDIA

摘要

Eight species of genus Ophioglossum L. have been recorded from Rajasthan. Of these, O. indicum Yadav & Goswami, O. parvifolium Grev. & Hook, and O. lusitanicum L. were recorded for the first time, which are the new additions to the pteridophytic floraof the state. O. indicum with pink color, is the new species of Ophioglossum from India. O. vulgatum L. and O. polyphyllum A. Br. ex Seub. reported by earlier workers could not be relocated despite keen search of their localities. Morphological characters, taxonomic account, distribution and field notes of different species of Ophioglossum occurring in Rajasthan have been presented.
