All small businesses are set to receive a letter from The Pensions Regulator urging them to prepare for new pension duties. Over the next few months, all employers will receive a letter informing them of the date their legal automatic enrolment dutieswill start. Each employer -even those with one worker - has a date that is specific to them called the 'staging date'.The mail-out to all small business owners will also ask them to supply email contact details to the regulator so it can provide them with regular reminders and updates as their individual staging date approaches.The letter campaign is in addition to existing countdown communications to small employers - including the 12-months-to-go reminder letter.
