FAI-NORTHERN REGION FERTILISER ORIENTATION COURSE

The Fertiliser Association of India - Northern Region organised a two day Fertiliser Orientation Course at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUA&T), Pantnagar, Uttarakhand during October 31 -November 1,2009 in collaboration with Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd. (CFCL), New Delhi and Department of Soil Science of the University. Sixty One students from the various disciplines such as Soil Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Chemicals, Plant Pathology, Agroforestry, Agrometeorology, Horticulture and MBA attended the programme. Dr. D.P. Singh, Director (Research), GBPUA&T, Pantnagar inaugurated the programme and Mr. V.K. Gupta, Chief General Manager, CFCL, New Delhi preside over the inaugural session. Dr. U.S. Teotia, Regional Executive-Northern Region, FAI welcomed the Chief Guest, Special Guest and students and briefed about the activities of FAI and importance of the programme. Dr. S.K. Saini, Dean, College of Agriculture, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar presented the prizes and certificates to the students during the valedictory session.
