Effective Logistics of Fertilisers and Raw Materials

Keeping in view the large scale production and movement of fertilisers vis-a-vis geographical situation of various destinations, in our country, after careful consideration of the crucial issues of managing supply chain of fertilisers, it is felt with a fair degree of certainty that selection of proper channel of logistics meeting technical and commercial requirement based on suitable sales and procurement process is necessary. In this context the present situation focused on effective logistics of fertilisers & raw materials for enhancing efficiency and reduced cost concept recommends some measures in India to maintain uninterrupted production and logistics with the environment and human health requirements. In today's era of liberalization and globalization also taking into account the overall environmental and human health considerations, compulsion to use cheapest mode of logistics and transportation may be diluted for better prospects. A proper logistics strategy coupled with dedicated approach for the supply chain will certainly prove to be vital tool for any organization in managing the fertilisers with ease and comfort.
