Newly Elected Chairman of FAI Mr. Rakesh Kapur

Mr. Rakesh Kapur has been unanimously elected as new Chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI). The decision was taken in the Board meeting of FAI held on 27~(th) March, 2015 in New Delhi. FAI is the national body of the fertiliser sector comprising manufacturers, importers and all other associated with the fertiliser sector promoting the interests of farmers. The fertiliser sector has a turnover of over Rs. 1.3 lakh crorers per annum. India is the 2~(nd) largest consumer of fertilisers and 3~(rd) largest manufacturer of fertilisers in the world.
