摘要

The resurgent interest among Indian coffee planters to create and utilize opportunities to produce differentiated coffees and undertake value addition of the bean is evident from the entrepreneurial ventures of a number of young coffee planters who have established innovative coffee R&G and cafe businesses. Most of these 'blossoms' have been successfully traversing the entrepreneurial path, and contributing to the growth of the Indian coffee sector. Joining this band of young coffee planters-cum-entrepreneurs are Mr. Prashanth Nagaraj and Mr. Chiranjeevi KP of Sudhir estates, an 80-year old pristine coffee farm based near Sakleshpur, Karnataka. The enterprising cousins, in October 2015, established Woodpeckers coffee trading house in Bengaluru, and, since then, have been trading a range of coffee products under the brand of 'Woodi Pecks'.Coffee Blossoms
