Larsen & Toubro (L&T), India's largest cement manufacturer, is eyeing acquisitions in Rajasthan to challenge the Gujarat Ambuja-ACC combine in the north.The company has trained its sights on a couple of standalone cement companies and is understood to have sounded out a two million tonne cement unit.But a deal is not expected to be finalised till the new strategic partner ner walks in.
