Ethernet enabled HMIs provide more flexibility

A production management system, designed by Fern Engineering Systems for a UK-based manufac-irer of automotive parts, uses an Ethernet network to give the end-user the ability to see production problems as they occur, in real-time. It was therefore important that equipment specified for use in the system should have an Ethernet interface and it was for this reason that Fern specified 71 Pro-face GP23000L HMIs which feature Ethernet interfaces as standard.
