CenFRA offers helping hand to food and drink industry

The second in a series of exclusive articles for Automation from CenFRA. Mike Wilson, chairman of the CenFRA Technical Advisory Group (TAG) and president of BARA, gives his view on why UK food and drink manufacturers need to invest in robotics and automation. There is a mounting belief amongst UK food and drink manufacturers that companies which position themselves competitively now will be in a much stronger position to embrace the opportunities that will come with the upturn of the economy. It is therefore vital the industry is aware of the cost-effective alternatives available for almost any manufacturing function, thanks to the technological advances made in automation and robotics.
