The concept of agribusiness was introduced in the Philippines several years ahead of its adoption in Thailand. In the Philippines, it worked very well in the livestock feeds industry. Traditional plantation agriculture in Mindanao also adopted a moreintegrated agribusiness system. Following the success of the livestock agribusiness model in the Philippines, CP of Thailand replicated and executed the system in much larger scale, not only in Thailand but also in the region, including Southeast Asia and China.
