Insight into magnetic characteristics of an ising monolayer Fe_3GeTe_2 structure

Using the Monte Carlo method with the Metropolis algorithm, we analyzed the magnetic characteristics of a monolayer Fe_3GeTe_2 structure under external magnetic field. We investigated the effects of exchange coupling and magnetic anisotropy on the thermodynamic quantities of the system. Various characteristic curves of internal energy, specific heat, magnetization, magnetic susceptibility and hysteresis loops are obtained. In addition, the effect of temperature on hysteresis loops including coercivity and remanence were also discussed.
