SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Singapore’s economy posted an annualised third-quarter growth of 0.6%, easing from the 2% pace set in the previous quarter, largely due to a contraction in its manufacturing sector, official data showed on Friday. The manufacturing sector shrank by 1.1% year on year in the third quarter, reversing the 1.4% expansion recorded in the previous quarter, according to Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI).
