China's Shanghai Huayi resumes full ops at Anhui acetic acid unit

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Shanghai Huayi (Group) Co has recovered full operating capacity at its 500,000 tonne/year acetic acid plant at Wuwei, Anhui province, following an unplanned outage, a company official said on Friday. The outage occurred on 6 September as a result of mechanical issues, the company source said.
