US PolyOne to produce specialty engineered materials in India

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PolyOne is expected to begin local production of specialty engineered materials at its existing facility in Pune, India, in January 2017, the USbased compounder announced late on Wednesday. Its Pune facility, which opened in 2014 with an initial focus on colorant and additives, will be expanding its production line to include specialty engineered polymer materials used in high performance applications, such as those requiring flame retardant properties, it said in a statement.
