SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Technip has been awarded a contract by South Korea’s Daelim Industrial Co to provide proprietary equipment for a high severity fluid catalytic cracking (HS-FCC) unit at S-Oil’s refinery in South Korea, the French engineering firm said on Friday. The HS-FCC cracks heavy hydrocarbons into lighter olefins such as propylene and lighter fuels such as gasoline.
